Coach Dwayne Powell is a highly respected figure in the basketball community, known for his extensive experience as a professional trainer and his dedication to youth development. As the Co-founder of The Hoops Lab and a Master Trainer in Basketball Skills, he has spent two decades shaping the skills and careers of countless athletes.
Powell's own collegiate career at Lasell University was marked by exceptional performance. A three-year starter, he holds the distinction of being the all-time leader in assists and ranks second all-time in steals, showcasing his all-around impact on the court.
Beyond his playing days, Coach Powell transitioned seamlessly into coaching and training. He has served as a Varsity Girls Coach for 8 years, earning the prestigious Coach of the Year award in the Eastern Independent League (EIL). Through The Hoops Lab, Coach Powell continues to empower athletes of all ages and abilities, embodying his commitment to both athletic excellence and personal growth.
